You Tube
The lesson I taught was the parts of flower. With all the pictures needed I taught the students about the parts of flower through the picture. Later I thought of why not let them watch a you tube on the parts of flower for the students at home.
So I decided to share a web link for the parts of flower:

I sent the web address to the parents through we chat and instructed to let their children watch and and memories the parts of flower.
Next day I found out that all the students could name the parts of flower and all the students said that they have learned it through You Tube. So i feel You tube is a place where you could get all the information and children also learn lot through it.
Good used of YouTube in your classroom teaching. You have used it for making your children to understand the concept clearly. So keep on practising.

ReplyDeleteThese days YouTube has gained very popularity in our society. It was nice that you have used the tools to make your children understand the topic clearly. However I would strongly recommend you to provide very clear instructions like dos and don'ts even to parents. Otherwise some of the parents might be illiterate and our learners might miss use the facilities in the name of your home task. You may also ask parents to monitor how and what the learners are watching. Your tools was simple but seems very effective.

At this age ICT plays a very vital roles in imparting clear concept to our learners. They pick up easily and quickly with the help of ICT rather than traditional way of learning through lecture methods or using text, chalk and board.
